The Wall (2022)
3'34''
Digital Film & Installation
The Wall tells the story of three generations of men from a Chinese northern family who try to reconcile with themselves and gradually draw closer to each other amidst the unbridgeable divide. I use the relationship between the chairs in the different scenes to express the state of the men in the family as they face separation, conflict, closeness and disconnection. With this work, I want to illustrate the heritage and influence between families.
